Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.

Isaiah 12:2

Hello Friends and Lot owners,

We wanted to update all of our lot owners of some of the recent changes that are happening here at the cemetery. If you haven’t already, make sure you check out our brand new website. You can do things like: add memorials and photos for loved ones, search for graves and read the rules and regulations of the cemetery. We will be adding a News tab onto the website where you will find updates and new information about the cemetery.

With the closing of All Saints Parish, Saint Charles cemetery is now under the management of Saint Joseph’s Parish located at 1200 Mendon Rd. in Woonsocket. Our records keeper, Deb Doris, is still the one to contact with burial questions, deed requests, rules & regs questions, etc. She can be reached via the “contact us” button on our website, or call our business office at 401-762-1100. Our new office is now located inside of Good Shepherd Catholic School, located at 1200 Mendon Rd in Woonsocket. Give Deb a call for her office availability should you want to visit the office.

We recently completed a forest management project, in conjunction with the State of Massachusetts, that involved thinning the heavily overgrown wooded area behind the cemetery. Our ultimate goal was to expand the existing walking trails that have been in place for several decades and make the area more accessible for hiking/recreation use. This tree thinning project allowed for the removal of dead/diseased trees while simultaneously creating wildlife habitat.

Finally, as we go into the summer months, we would like to remind you that we have approximately 20 acres of developed lots that we trim and mow. Quite often, by the time we are done mowing, the beginning needs to be mowed again! Be assured we are diligently working on the grounds all summer long.

Spread the Word – What’s New at the Cemetery?

In addition to 6, 4, 3 and 2 grave lots, we now have single graves available for purchase.

We have started expanding the cemetery, with more graves being added to the St. Stanislaus section of the cemetery and added a new section to the St. Charles section of the cemetery.

For more information, please contact the cemetery business office at 401-762-1100.

Section 16 – New Deeds?

If you own a lot in section 16 you may have gotten a new deed recently. Why is this?

In our efforts to update our cemetery we have merged 3 sections: section 16, 16A and 16B, into one. This means you may have received a new deed with a new deed number reflecting the new section number. (Not everyone would have gotten a new deed – only those that needed a new number)

We assure you, the physical location of your lot has not changed. Just the section and/or lot number and deed number.

If the new deed was forwarded to you, please call our office to update our records.

Updated Information?

If your information has changed (address, phone number, etc) please make sure to update our office.

You can call 401-762-1100, send us an email or contact us on our website.
