Roman Catholics believe that when Christ returns to earth, the souls of those who have gone before us into Eternal Life will reunite to their bodies and they will rise from their graves fully alive, just as the Lord did on Easter morning. (Catechism of the Catholic Church, no. 1001). For this reason, Catholic cemeteries are sacred places and should be maintained as such. To help ensure the dignity proper to this sacred place, please find the enclosed rules and regulations.
